Those soft boiled eggs were a bit too soft.
The only use for these that would be useful for me is the fact that I always get egg whites on my fingers when I pull the shell apart.
Those two metal ones that "tap" the egg on top and you remove the shell leaving a nice hole would be perfect for making cascarones (confetti eggs).

I would switch 4 and 5. 4 performed everytime, the only time it had hiccups is when you only gave it one tap.

I came looking for something for my mom who has arthritis and this was great and informative so was quite surprising to hear him say he did not know why anyone would need these. I figured it might be one of the reasons for the video, but either way great content to see options for those who are differently abled or sometimes one may want to have something that is more accurate than just hitting against the edge of bowl or counter…always mice to have options.
That thing is my worst nightmare. It has killed and tortured many of my brothers and sisters

I actually use my spatula or flipper. Hold the egg in one hand and crack it with the edge of the spatula. No egg running down the side of the bowl. You can use the edge of a fork or a butter knife also.👍👌✌

Lol…eeewww!! On the other hand egg is supposed to be good for your skin…snicker. I can not stand the feel of raw egg on my hands. So I'm getting one of those hammer drop ones ASAP! LOL. My personal take on all of this … these don’t make it any faster OR cleaner in most cases so … better to just be ginger with your egg cracking and use your hands haha.

I break 1 in 4 yolks for some reason, without fail. Someone comes up with a device that fixes that, I am all in.
Very helpful, thanks. But, "Why would you – l can crack an egg with my hands?". So could I once, Dude, and so could very many others who no longer can. That's what a whole lot of gadgets are about.
I can tell you from experience, it is very helpful for the blind community. Definitely makes things a lot easier.
Not everyone is good at cracking an egg the normal way. I find it difficult to hit the clean "sweet spot" between the egg not cracking at all and making a mess.
Those devices don't seem to solve that anyway, since they still seem to get egg liquids on themselves (or you), but I'd be curious how the "Crack'em" performs at simply making traditional cracking easier.

Worked in a bakery for long 6 in a half years, and first thing you learn is to crack eggs with one hand left or right,if you can't do that,give up life,because you are useless.
Not reading all the comments but a device cracking one egg at a time I see no advantage your than hand…with hand there's no clean up. Cracking 3+eggs at a time I want to see that.

The big hammer one is definetly useful. I want to start a street food stall and I’ll need to employ people some of which will be imbeciles. Customers do NOT want egg shell in their breakfast. If I can get somebody to pre crack the egg shell so someone else can then place the egg on the griddle it’d save me customer complaints.
I think # 4 and # 5 need to be reversed. I think the SSGP is the reason why they made the others after it. Otherwise, I agree with your ranking order.
