Am trying to install windows 10 off a USB flash drive. it tells me that a driver is missing. I have 3 USB ports and same message on all 3. A tutorial says to go into repair and that way to type Clean in the command propt.. when I get to the UEF1 box it says Restart and I cant get to enter the command prompt anywhere.. It just has me going in circles.. How do I get a driver and ca it be installed off the usb

my problem usually is that I do now know what drivers I need. Its so unnecessarily complicated to get a system started. I wish manufacturers would just have a single software that lets you choose your product and have that software download and install everything. Like an Intel software that I just open up, select my i7-8700k and fire away, then one from MSi which I open up, select the Z370 and have it automatically install everything I need. Nvidia has that with Geforce experience I guess, but GPU drivers are simple enough already. I guess half my drivers if not all are outdated by now, but theres no way you would manually check every few weeks and check for any updates. Too bad driver updaters are bad apparently, they sound good.

Hi reinstalled my windows 10 on my Dell computer due to a failed windows update using a USB thumb drive. I successfully recovered my PC but I’m having trouble with the Wi-Fi network adapter. At first it would show no networks available Afterwords you cannot even find the Wi-Fi icon anywhere in the system and the troubleshooter said the wireless services is not running. When I try to enable it it gives me an error message 1068. My Wi-Fi driver is up-to-date. Does this mean my Wi-Fi network adapter is bad? I just need to know so that I could proceed with a new Wi-Fi network adapter Or if it’s software related repair the software
