ask someone to get new programs and I told them not to change anything just put the programs, then when I got the laptop back and turn it on half the programs don't work plus the battery didn't work either and me and my dad was furriest. hope this work

My laptop shuts down randomly even though it is plugged .
It even shows the battery cross icon and if I hover over it with the cursor it says that there is 255% battery left , it makes no sense .

My system batteries has just been replaced with new ones and l plugged it to recharge for 3hrs. My observation was that the percentage was just dropping instead of increasing. Advice me please.
All I did was remove the battery and put it back in again, it doesn't matter if it's on or off again. Idk if this helps but this is what fixed my problem.
